The bottom 50% of stores in our rankings share three traits: mobile load times over 5 seconds, no email capture, and legacy themes that haven't been updated since 2021. They also share the same conversion rates — 40-60% below the category leaders sitting just above them.

Page speed, load time, mobile usability. Tested on real 4G connections, not lab conditions. The majority of your customers browse on their phones.

Stores scoring below 50 lose an estimated 23% of mobile visitors before the page loads.
